MIKE LIGUORI

MIKE LIGUORI, San Carlos, CA. Mike enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps as a motor transport operator and deployed to Iraq twice. He separated from the Marine Corps in 2006 and enrolled in college under the Post-9/11 GI Bill. Mike struggled with the transition from combat to campus and felt out of sync with his civilian peers. He persevered and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. Mike is in the finishing stages of publishing a memoir about his experiences in Iraq, and he remains active in the veteran community as the founder of a nonprofit that helps veterans develop professional careers.
