Today, IAVA issued a groundbreaking mental health report, Invisible Wounds: Psychological and Neurological Injuries Confront a New Generation of Veterans, after a new military report revealed U.S. Army suicides hit a three-decade high in 2008.

I have ptsd from serving 18 months in Iraq and i think people need to understand what vets from this war and past conflicts go though with having this mental injury.there is not a day that goes by that i dont think about what happened when i was there and can not endure what i saw,heard,and felt.i live in Iraq daily in my mind and hope we vets get the help we need to deal with it....
