On Veterans Day, IAVA Member Veterans participated in more than a dozen parades nationwide from New York to the San Fernando Valley. In New York City, more than 150 IAVA Member Veterans and their families gathered to march in the city's flagship Veterans Day Parade. The theme of this year’s celebration was “We’ve Got Your Back,” the new tagline of IAVA’s Veteran Support Campaign.

This year’s Veterans Day Celebration offered veterans from across the country the opportunity to come together and celebrate while also giving back to their community. Following the NYC Veterans Day Parade, IAVA Member Veterans and supporters gathered at the historic Plaza Hotel for a care package event to support Operation Gratitude.
	At the celebration, Member Veterans watched the premiere of IAVA's new PSA 'Camouflage' and received a special shout out from Iraq Veteran and MTV Real World castmate Ryan Conklin, who is currently serving his second tour in Iraq. Watch Ryan's special video message.

During the Parade and Veterans Day Celebration, several IAVA Member Veterans expressed their support for service members still deployed overseas and spoke of the critical need to rally behind the new veterans movement.
