Storm the Hill 2009
February 8

On February 8, 2009, IAVA Member Veterans gathered for IAVA's fourth annual Storm the Hill campaign in Washington, D.C., where they spent the week meeting with over 125 lawmakers on Capitol Hill to discuss IAVA's 2009 Legislative Agenda.  On the final day of the campaign, the Senate and House Veterans' Affairs Committees addressed IAVA's top legislative priority by introducing a bill to advance fund VA health care so that VA hospitals and clinics across the country can provide the staff and services that our veterans deserve.

For more information about this watershed campaign and participating veterans, visit www.stormthehill.org.

Listen to IAVA Executive Director and Founder Paul Rieckhoff applaud Congressional lawmakers for making VA health care a priority in 2009.
