Maria Canales joined the active duty Army in 2002. While stationed in Germany she worked as a Finance Specialist and a Financial Management Technician. When she deployed to Iraq, Maria provided financial support to her unit. Maria has a degree in Business Management from Long Island University, and is working on her MBA, with a focus on Human Resource Management. Despite her years of experience in the Army, and degree in business, Maria has had trouble finding permanent work in the Human Resources field.
