IAVA, Miller Partner to Give Veterans a "Piece of the High Life"

This summer, IAVA and Miller High Life are partnering to give veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan and their families more than $1 million in cash and experiences from NASCAR pit passes to MLB All-Star Game tickets. THE "HIGH LIFE" CAMPAIGN

For every Miller High Life and Miller High Life Light bottle cap returned to stores, Miller High Life will donate 10 cents to help “Give a Veteran a Piece of the High Life.” Anchored by IAVA's new distribution center, The Rucksack, the campaign will provide America's newest generation of veterans with an opportunity to experience premium events while connecting with other veterans in their communities. On Independence Day, IAVA and Miller High Life officially launched the "Give a Veteran a Piece of the High Life" campaign with the first two of many major stops across the country in San Diego and Los Angeles.

San Diego News 6: IAVA Executive Director Paul Rieckhoff spoke to San Diego's local affiliate about the campaign's implications for veterans in the Camp Pendleton community.
NBC 12: Hundreds of IAVA Members and their friends and families came together in Phoenix, AZ to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks take on the Washington Nationals.
Fox 5 DC: Nearly 1000 IAVA member veterans and their families came together in Washington, DC to see the Washington Nationals play the Florida Marlins. A few local veterans were interviewed about the experience by the local FOX affiliate.
