Read: RRRP Weekly Impact Report March 29

RRRP Client Quote of the Week:

“My case manager is by far the best customer service representative I have ever encountered. There are no words to explain her selfless sacrifice and service. Constantly maintaining communication and looking for resources for my family. I have gained my family’s love and happiness back, and my anger and hostility has dimmed down a lot.”

Trends:
RRRP processed 16 new cases and provided 17 new referrals for clients this week. RRRP served 2 new clients at risk of suicide and 2 new clients that were facing homelessness. Financial assistance, navigating the VA disability claims process and suicide and mental health needs were the top areas clients sought support and assistance with. DAV works with more than than 1 million veterans every year and assists veterans with more than 250,000 VA benefits claims every year. DAV has also provided nearly 615,000 rides for veterans attending medical appointments to ensure they have access to services without the hindrance of transportation challenges. In 2017, DAV was able to get more than $4 billion in new and retroactive benefits to care for veterans, their families and survivors. DAV also connects veterans with employment opportunities, hosts job fairs and provides employment resources. DAV operates from over 1,200 chapters across the country and RRRP has referred over 390 veterans to access their services for assistance with benefits, employment and transportation.
