San Francisco Fleet Week: IAVA is boots on the ground
Posted by IAVA Staff on October 4 2012

To kick off Fleet Week, IAVA is boots on the ground in San Francisco - and we'll be hosting a number of events in the Bay Area!

And no matter your interest, there’s almost definitely something for you. Along with Craig Newmark, IAVA Board Member and founder of Craigslist, some of tech’s hottest companies and Silicon Valley’s brightest minds will be getting involved and showing new vets that they have our back!

We started off strong last night with an awesome event at Zynga HQ - stay tuned for pics and a recap! See below to see what else we have going on this week!

Join us for a Combat to Career Training Workshop with tailored advice for those looking for employment in the private sector or those interested in government jobs.

Get Involved

In just the last year, IAVA has connected hundreds of veterans with employers through innovative career fairs, helped over 10,000 veterans go to college on the New GI Bill, and provided mental health support to over 50,000 veterans—all at no cost to Member Veterans. Programs like these are only made possible through your generous support. Fight for those who fought for us and help us keep these resources and benefits completely free for new veterans and their families. DONATE >>

Not an IAVA member yet? What are you waiting for?! IAVA Member Veterans get access to exclusive career fairs, events and tickets. Join up today--membership is free and all you have to do is submit proof of OIF/OND/OEF status.
