As the summer heats up, IAVA is connecting America’s New Greatest Generation of veterans with opportunities, events, and resources around the country. All of these -- and much more -- are available exclusively in The Rucksack, so make sure you head over there to see what we’ve got!

Lincoln Center

IAVA and Lincoln Center are partnering together this summer to bring vets and their families together for one of New York City’s most anticipated summer events -- Midsummer Night Swing! Join us as we kick off our new partnership and heat things up with mashups by two of the biggest names in pop music history: the Jacksons and Prince!

Join us on Thursday, July 12th at Damrosch Park -- and make sure you sign up and request your tickets today! IAVA member veterans and their guests will get access to a special VIP tent for a fun night of free food, drinks, and dancing. And if you’re worried about having two left feet, we’ll also have dancing lessons before the DJ starts spinning the night away.

IAVA members also have the exclusive opportunity to get tickets for the Paris Opera Ballet’s performance of one of the most loved and celebrated ballets, “Giselle.” To find out more about the ballet and to submit a request for your tickets, head over to The Rucksack today.

O.A.R.

In 2011, IAVA connected vets with tickets for O.A.R.’s summer tour. Now, in 2012 we’re doing it again! We’ve got tickets for shows around the country, so be sure to check out where we’ve got tickets and to request yours today.

In 2009, IAVA and O.A.R. partnered to launch the innovative Open Up Your Arms campaign. Inspired by the band’s USO experiences in Kuwait and Iraq, the campaign recruited over 24,000 Americans to pledge their support for new veterans. By signing an online pledge, supporters gained exclusive access to O.A.R's new music video for their hit single "War Song" on www.OpenUpYourArms.org.

Miller High Life

We’re back for our third year of partnering to Give a Veteran a Piece of the High Life! IAVA and Miller High Life are distributing tickets to unique, once-in-a-lifetime events and opportunities for veterans and their families around the country! Check out a few of our major events coming up this summer and be sure to request your tickets so that you don’t miss out on the action.
