IAVA's Sixth Annual Heroes Gala was an incredible evening for IAVA, our Board, our staff and our 200,000 members and supporters nationwide.
We have raised $1 million for this year's Heroes Gala, leaving us $300,000 short of our $1.3 million goal. We need your help to make up the difference.
Your support will help veterans like Cpl. Aaron Mankin, an Iraq vet who told his inspirational story:

Brian Williams carried us through the night for the fourth year in a row with his characteristic passion and wit. Our civilian honorees, Joan Ganz Cooney and Peter G. Peterson inspired the room to step up their support and commitment to new veterans. CPL Aaron Mankin, our special guest and 2011 Veteran Leadership Honoree, brought the house down once again. Every time Aaron speaks, he reminds everyone in range how transformative organizations like IAVA are to the personal stories of veterans and their families from coast to coast. And last but not least, Roger Waters accepted our inaugural Artistic Leadership Award and closed the evening with a breathtaking acoustic performance, accompanied by the legendary G.E. Smith. You can check out all the photos here.
Please donate to support IAVA's innovative health, education, employment and community building programs.
With your support, we can expand our pilot case management program to bring one-on-one support to veterans across the country. Every dollar helps to improve the lives of our new vets and their families.
