UPDATE: On Monday, Salon's Mark Benjamin published the third installment of an investigative series about shoddy care at Arlington Cemetery in which spokeswoman Kaitlin Horst admitted the cemetery cannot identify grave-site remains buried around 2003. In a statement, IAVA Executive Director Paul Rieckhoff expressed the concern of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans calling for Congress to investigate the allegations further. "We expect the Armed Services Committee to look into this and that hearings would be appropriate," Rieckhoff said. "Our members are outraged. People are very, very concerned. We expect a response from the Army on this." For updates on this breaking story, follow IAVA on Twitter @iavapressroom.
