IAVA, Fullbridge Program Bring Educational Bootcamp to Vets
Posted by Michael Preston on October 25 2012

New vets! Get your gear ready for a new kind of bootcamp. Through an innovative new partnership with the Fullbridge Program, IAVA is going to connect ten IAVA Member Veterans with the opportunity to attend an intensive three-week business and entrepreneurship training course.

To learn more about Fullbridge and program details, click here.

Thanks to the generous support of Fullbridge, IAVA is awarding ten veterans with all-expenses paid scholarships to the program, which runs from January 2-18, 2013 in Cambridge, MA. The program will give IAVA members the chance to translate skills they learned in the military to the civilian workplace, while also providing them with resources to help them build their own businesses or enter into other entrepreneurial ventures. Through skills assessments and a personalized coaching model of learning, veterans will gain a better understanding of their strengths, identify areas where they can further develop their skills and gain insights on possible career paths.

Whether you're finishing up work on a degree or considering a career change, the Fullbridge Program will help prepare you for whatever comes next.

Click here to find more about this great opportunity -- and how to apply!

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, so IAVA members are highly encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The application deadline for this program is Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 5PM ET.

Get Involved

In just the last year, IAVA has connected hundreds of veterans with employers through innovative career fairs, helped over 10,000 veterans go to college on the New GI Bill, and provided mental health support to over 50,000 veterans—all at no cost to Member Veterans. Programs like these are only made possible through your generous support. Fight for those who fought for us and help us keep these resources and benefits completely free for new veterans and their families. DONATE >>
