2013 Member Policy Survey

At the beginning of every year, we turn to our members to help us determine our top policy priorities.

Your stories, opinions and feedback on the issues from employment to education to mental health tell us what we need to tackle in the coming year.

IAVA Member Veterans: make sure to check your email for information about taking the survey along with your unique verification code. If you're not a member, sign up now and you'll get an email later this week with info about how to take the survey.

In 2010, you wanted upgrades to the New GI Bill, and we led the charge to upgrade the benefit. In 2011, as many of you struggled to find meaningful employment, we got the Vow to Hire Heroes Act passed into law. In 2012, we made more progress on employment, education and mental health – the top three issues you named in last year’s survey. Read more about our work in 2012 here.

The survey takes about 45 minutes and you have to finish what you start in just one sitting. Your answers will be kept completely confidential so don’t hold back. As a bonus, 100 random members who complete the survey will receive a complimentary IAVA t-shirt.

In March, members from across the country will bring IAVA's Policy Agenda to the President, the VA and Congress. Every question you answer will help us advocate for the policies, programs and services that matter most to our generation of vets.

The survey will be open from Tuesday, February 5th through Tuesday, February 12th, so all IAVA Member Veterans should check their email for survey-taking instructions as well as their unique verification code. And if you're not a member yet, sign up today!
